To Mr R Crocker and students of the FAAOA sholorship course.
Hello all, my name is Calum O’Connor. I’m 19 from Macclesfield in Cheshire, I am currently coming to the end of my National Sport Science and Fitness Diploma at a local college.
After being in contact with the Royal Navy and Fleet Aim Arm for some years and having just returned from a POAC course at RNAS Culdrose this course sounds an excellent way to meet people interested in the same field as I am. It will also hopefully be a way of acquiring some extra information and tips on the Flying Aptitude Tests and AIB Board from yourselves and pilots around the base!
As far as interests go I am a keen sportsman, competing around the country for my local Cycling club. I am also a member of a local Saturday football team based in East Cheshire. Other interests include skiing, basketball, athletics and avidly supporting Manchester United.
Looking forward to the course
Calum O’Connor
