  • Dear Lt Croker and fellow PNGC Instructors,
I can't express just how much of an amazing week i had during the gliding course. The consensous amongst all of the students was that of reluctance that the course had to end. I thoughourly enjoyed the week and can't think of anything negative about the course.I met some amazing, inspirational people all of whom enjoyed the same things i did. Who of which i will be staying in close contact.
I want to make a special thank-you to instructors Pete and John on N3 Syndicate. Without you I would have not have been able to achieve going solo on the course nor my first personal goal of being able to fly before i could drive!. Yet i did. So no its onwards and upwards for reaching greater heights in aviation, with many thanks to all at the FAAOA and PNGC. Easily the best week of my life. So from here i'll say farewell..... for now, for im sure that ill be back over in portsmouth and PNGC in the near future!!! Thank you very much for an experience that i have enjoyed so much!!! See you later.

  • Dear Lt Croker, and all my fellow pilots (haha sounds good doesn't it?!)
I'd just really like to thank everybody on the course for making my week so amazing.
The instructors truly went beyond all expectations both in their teaching and general friendliness and I was made to feel very welcome by everybody there. I'd particularly like to thank Richard, Paula and Fran, the instructors for my syndicate, for doing such a great job (and obviously choosing the best group to teach!)
Secondly, a huge thankyou to all of the students. I couldn't have hoped for a better group of people to spend my time with, and I'm sure I've made some life long friends out of all of you.
I think a 'get together' is being arranged for the end of August some time, so I look forward to seeing you there!

The best of luck to you all.

  • Lt Crocker, Geoff, Steve, John, Sea Daddies, et al...

Excellent week, even with the weather.

    Thanks again!

Notes to people who havent taken the course yet.

    1) If you like sport and ahve energy left there are great facilities at Collingwood, a gym and swim/sauna was a great way to chill out after flying.

    2) If your going to iron your shirts there are facilities to, so no need ot bring one for each day if your that way inclined.

3)If you want real career advice talk to regular officers in the bar, they wont pull any punches.

    4) Listern to your instructors chill out and enjoy. and remember quick ground handling means more flights !

    Best Regards,

    Paddy Neary

PS student bowling score to beat is 214, Richard isnt kidding that man takes a bit of beating (250ish). good luck guys!
