April GLiding Course 2008
Dear Scholarship students,
Apologies for the late post - I forgot my password!
Welcome to the April Gliding Course hosted by the Naval Gliding Centre at HMS DAEDALUS Lee on Solent. You are one of 13 students on the course. Eleven are victualled at HMS Collingwood and I will meet you there on Friday 4th April at 1900.
The remaining two students are a Naval Officer and a French Cadet. Remember to unsure you have completed your Medical prior to the course. Please read your joining instructions fully. Ring me if any problems.
Lt Chris Jones will be overseeing your stay in the Wardroom. Commander Phil Moore has also organised some power flying training - more on this later.

Good Morning,
I am Alex Ross, I live locally and have several interests, these include, rugby, fencing, running and eating.
I am 17 years old, and have no real previous flying experience, apart from several holiday flights and a single flight in a Seaking, during a CCF course.
Looking forward to meeting everyone next friday.

I am Tom Baker and am from Whitchurch in Bucks. I am 17 years old and my interests include rugby,moutain biking,gym and socialising with mates.
I have no previous flying experience other than a week at RNAS Culdrose.
I am really looking forward to the course,and looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi everyone.I am Lydia Ayto. I am 17 years old and live in Nottinghamshire.I have many interests which include football,netball,horse riding and socialising withn my mates.
I have been on 2 courses previous to this but not with this much flying and never in a glider. i have had a quick flight on a sea king at Yeovilton and i went to a course at Culdrose.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone.see you all tomorrow.
